Finalists for NBR Audacious awards announced


The forty finalists in the NBR Online Audacious Challenge have been announced.

Finalists of the much anticipated NBR Online Audacious Challenge Top 40 with ANZ were announced last night to an audience of students, academics and the business community at the University of Otago.

A record 237 entries were received this year with ideas submitted by students from the University of Otago and Otago Polytechnic. Just 40 of the ideas were selected as finalists, each taking away a prize of $500.

These 40 ideas will be further developed in the second stage of the competition starting in August, with prizes to the value of over $40,000 to go towards students starting their own business.
