Flying away on property sales

Bayleys is offering sellers the chance to earn up to 500 airpoints dollars on completion of a property sale.
In a first for New Zealand, Bayleys real estate agency has signed on with Air New Zealand’s [NZX: AIR] airpoints scheme to attract more properties for sale.
The realtor is offering vendors the chance to earn up to 500 airpoints dollars on completion of a commercial, industrial, rural or residential property sale.
Bayleys has been at the sharp end of real estate marketing and perfected the art of vendor-funding for just about every area of a real estate sale. It is now turning its focus to attracting more than the 800 commercial and residential properties it sold for $7 billion in the past financial year.
Managing director Mike Bayley says property sellers can earn one airpoints dollar for every $2000 worth of a property’s sale price up to a maximum of 500 points. Vendors who are not airpoints members can join the scheme before listing their property.
Mr Bayley says the offer is available nationwide and has the potential to be extended into business sales and property services.
Air New Zealand has 1.8 million airpoints members and Bayleys joins Audi, Farmlands and Westpac as recent additions to the scheme.
