The hot-headed chef has postponed his trip to New Zealand (due to take place next week) as his mother has suffered a heart attack.
Duco Events, which was to host the F-word star at public functions in Auckland and Wellington, put out a release explaining the delay and sending best wishes.
"Our hearts go out to Mr Ramsay and his family and we wish his mother a speedy recovery," Duco's directors said.
