NBR understands news website Freed has been put on an “indefinite hiatus.”
The website courted controversy when it was promoted by Whale Oil blogger Cameron Slater and even given the nickname "WhaleOil 2.0."
Its presumed financial backer, internet entrepreneur Tony Lentino, and spokesman Regan
