Freightways has announced a change in the company's board of directors.
Warwick Lewis is resigning and will be replaced by Mark Verbiest from March 24, chairman Wayne Boyd said.
Trained as a lawyer, Mr Verbiest worked on the senior executive team of Telecom until 2008. He was also a member of the Securities Commission.
"Mark's experience will complement that of our other directors and is compatible with the strategic positioning and development plans of Freightways," Mr Boyd said.
