French hotel group brings designer brand to Auckland

Accor is turning the old Reserve Bank building in downtown Auckland's Customs St East into a Sofitel So Hotel.

The 133-room hotel will open in 2015 at a cost of about $50 million. It will be only the Sofitel So hotel in the Pacific and the fourth in the world to open.
