Giesen Wines is expanding its head office, with the appointment of new chief financial officer Peter Dobbs.
Peter was previously managing director at Optica Lfe Accessories Ltd. He was also a partner in national jewellery retailer Silvermoon from 2010-2014. His earlier roles include finance and property general manager at HW Richardson Group and 10 years an an executive director at Otago Trust Group, owned by the late Howard Paterson.
He has held various consulting and directorship roles and remains on the board of natural nutritional ingredients manufacturer Pharmazen Ltd.
Angela Flynn is the new marketing manager for Giesen Wines. A senior global marketing and sales professional, she has worked in the UK, Australia and New Zealand markets.
Angela was previously based in Auckland as global brand manager for Yealands Wine Group and earlier worked with Constellation Brands on both sides of the Tasman, Allied Domecq Wine in the UK.
Giesen general manager Kyle Skene said the new appointments reflected the company’s continuing strategic expansion.
