Hawke's Bay has been rocked by a magnitude 5.2 earthquake this morning following Canterbury’s massive magnitude 7.1 shake on Saturday.

The quake at 10.48am was centred 90km south of Hastings and 50km south-east of Waipukurau, just off the coast. It was 15km deep (see the most recent quake information on the GeoNet site).

There are no early reports of damage, but it was reportedly widely felt through Hawkes Bay.
