Holmes Consulting has appointed Tony Galavazi as its Business Manager in Queenstown.
With more than 20 years of experience of structural engineering design in Queenstown and the surrounding areas, Holmes Consulting’s projects include Skyline’s new gondola redevelopment, Wakatipu High School, Rydges Hotel redevelopment, the commercial building T20 for Remarkables Park Ltd and the Queenstown Airport expansion.
In recent years, the business has enjoyed strong demand for expert structural engineering and seismic design expertise in the Queenstown Lakes District, expanding the local team to 17 people across structural and civil engineering disciplines.
Tony has nearly 20 years of structural engineering experience, with a broad range of project experience in New Zealand and the UK. He is an expert project director, with a track record of success delivering complex,
large scale projects spanning the commercial, retail, entertainment, sports and heritage sectors. He moved from Auckland to Queenstown in 2014 to provide senior management experience to the team.
Tony holds a BE (Hons) from Canterbury University. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and a Professional Member (MIPENZ). He is also licenced as an International Professional Engineer (Int PE).
