HoloLens available for pre-order in NZ
Augmented reality headset retails for $4699.
A developer version of HoloLens, Microsoft’s augmented reality headset, is available to be pre-ordered in New Zealand at a price of $4699.
The headset displays holograms, which Microsoft describes as a "mixed reality."
It will start arriving on New Zealand shores in late November, as well as five other countries: Australia, France, Germany, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
It can be shipped immediately in the US and Canada.
NBR had a brief trial in July.
