Information Leadership is pleased to announce the appointment of Samantha Fitzgerald to its Information Management (IM) team.
Samantha joins top-class practitioners such as Sarah Heal, Anita Rapson, Meta Mair, Paddy Plunket and Katherine Deacon. Over the last ten years they have helped over 200 NZ organisations on a wide range of information, knowledge and data management assignments.
Samantha’s skills span both IT and IM. In her previous role as Infrastructure Manager at one of New Zealand’s leading tertiary providers, she was responsible for a complex environment including Microsoft products, virtualization using HyperV and VMWare, Cisco voice and data and SQL and Oracle databases. Prior to this Sam held roles as Client Services Manager and Records Manager.
Samantha will be working initially on two of Information Leadership’s iWorkplace SharePoint deployments. iWorkplace SharePoint gives government agencies Public Records Act compliant systems at the fraction of the cost of other alternatives such as All-of-Government.
Sam is well-placed to work on these projects having worked through Public Records Act audits herself. With her pragmatic approach, coupled with deep industry knowledge, Samantha will be a real asset to the Information Leadership Team. Information Leadership’s success in information management has seen staff deliver workshops and papers for the past five years at a leading international conference, KM World, in the US.
It also delivers a range of successful workshops and training events throughout New Zealand including the Archives New Zealand flagship Public Records Act courses.
