Tropical Cyclone Vaianu shuts North Island ports

Port of Tauranga says it won't accept incoming container or other vessels from 6pm on Friday until Monday morning, and will secure its one remaining vessel with additional lines and anchors, in advance of Cyclone Vaianu.
