Air NZ set to receive first sustainable jet fuel drop
Airline to import 1.2m litres of fuel made from used cooking oil and tallow.
Air New Zealand is set to receive a delivery of Neste Sustainable Aviation Fuel via import partner Z Energy.
Air New Zealand will welcome a 1.2 million litre delivery of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) this weekend, with the likes of used cooking oil and animal fat entering the airline’s fuel mix for the first time.
Finnish company Neste is providing the fuel, which is made from “100% renewable waste
