Being AI posts dismal annual result as AI business fully impaired
Company joined the NZX in April last year as an AI play but did not fulfill that promise.
Former Being AI chair Sean Joyce owes the company $2 million.
Being AI’s annual result reflects a number of impairments which have left it with a net loss of nearly $12 million, including a $6m write-down of its shuttered Project Treehouse initiative and a provision against a loan to former chair Sean Joyce.
