Comvita ‘exploring all options’ to cut debt
The sale of inventory has reduced net debt by $18.6m, but additional action is needed, says the honey company.
In December Comvita said it had identified accounting irregularities affecting sales in China and Singapore.
Honey producer Comvita has warned “additional action” will be needed to reduce its debt amid ongoing talks with lenders on relief from debt covenants.
In a statement to the NZX this morning, Comvita said a sell-down of inventory had helped reduce net debt to $63 million this month, from $81.6m
