Mainfreight realistic about growth amid Covid-19, Ukraine
Trading update shows ‘pleasing’ performance in new financial year, also points out ongoing Covid-19 headwinds.
Mainfreight said the United States provided platform to grow further.
NZX-listed Mainfreight has highlighted the strength of its global operations amid the Covid-19 pandemic and war in Ukraine.
The company has continued its run of record results , with a 89% jump in net profit in the year ended March, to $355.4 million, with revenue of $5.22 billion.
