Mainfreight shares lift on profit update

Freight multinational says non China-US trade ‘largely unaffected’ by tariff announcements so far.

Mainfreight said many customers had a ‘wait and see’ approach to tariff uncertainty.

Shares in freight and logistics multinational Mainfreight have bounced up 12% after it said profit and revenues would be above market expectations for the year to March.

In a statement to the NZX, Mainfreight also said its export trade to the US from Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast
