New Zealand stores star in strong JB Hi-Fi result
Sales in New Zealand were up 20%, higher than the group average, and the operations moved from loss to profit.
JB Hi-Fi has 21 stores in New Zealand, following the 2007 acquisition of Hill & Stewart.
Shares in trans-Tasman electronics retailer JB Hi-Fi briefly posted a record high today after the company unveiled strong first half results.
The shares added 5% to A$108.08 ($119.80) in Monday morning trade on the ASX valuing the company at over A$11.2 billion, but by lunchtime had been pegged back
