NZ King Salmon wins consent for Cook Strait development

Plans by NZX-listed NZ King Salmon for an open ocean salmon farm in the Cook Strait have won resource consent from Marlborough District Council after a three-year process.
After a short trading halt as the news emerged, shares in NZ King Salmon rose 11% to 25c, valuing the company at $135 million.
