NZ Windfarms buys wind farm from Genesis
No price was disclosed for the acquisition of 'world class' Hau Nui site in Wairarapa.
The Hau Nui windfarm was New Zealand's first, with its stage one completed in 1996.
NZ Windfarms, operator of the Te Rere Hau windfarm near Palmerston North, has agreed to buy the 8.65MW Hau Nui wind farm in Wairarapa from Genesis Energy.
No price for the acquisition was disclosed and NZ Windfarms said Hau Nui would not make any money in the year to June 2025 because of maintenance
