Simplicity, Smartshares win default KiwiSaver status as five providers axed
Total number of default providers from December this year drops to six from nine.
Simplicity and Smartshares are the major winners in the government’s review of default KiwiSaver providers, scoring new mandates as the number of default providers is reduced from nine to six.
Meanwhile, some of the major banks and fund managers have missed out, including ANZ, ASB, AMP, Mercer
