Synlait guides HY loss; Fonterra upgrades milk price forecast
Cost increases and margin reductions drive Synlait into the red.
Synlait is guiding a loss of in the range of $17 million to $21m for HY24.
Synlait Milk has given more specific profit guidance for the first half of its 2024 financial year, saying it now expects its net loss to be in the range of $17 million to $21m.
The NZX and ASX-listed company had previously said it expected its HY24 net result after tax to be “down” on the HY23
