The Japanese Itochu Corporation is quitting a major New Zealand investment just four years after buying into it.
Itochu is unwinding a joint venture it formed in 2008 with Daiken Corporation to acquire an MDF manufacturing plant from Carter Holt Harvey at Rangiora near Christchurch.
