Prime Minister John Key is still waiting for his invitation to the upcoming royal wedding to land in his mailbox.
Mr Key is one of about 1900 guests invited by St James's Palace to the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton at Westminster Abbey on April 29.
A spokesman for Mr Key said the invitation was yet to arrive but St James's Palace had indicated that invitations had been sent to prime ministers, spouses and governors-general.
"It is the prime minister's intention to attend with his wife, Bronagh, subject to his schedule. The possibility of visiting France for Anzac Day just before the royal wedding is also being considered," he said. "It is also appropriate for the Governor-General (Sir Anand Satyanand), as the Queen's Representative in New Zealand, to attend with Lady Susan, and they will be doing so."
