Jones Lang LaSalle wins ethical award for sixth year in a row.
Commercial real estate company Jones Lang LaSalle appears to have a monopoly on ethical behaviour.
For the sixth year in a row, the international firm has been named one of the “World’s Most Ethical Companies”.
The title is conferred by the Ethisphere Institute, a New York-based organisation that says it promotes best practices in business ethics, corporate social responsibility, sustainability and anti-corruption.
Ethisphere says Jones Lang LaSalle goes beyond talking and puts its ethics into practice.
Winning the World’s Most Ethical Companies' award for six years in a row shows that ethical behaviour is a core value of Jones Lang LaSalle, it says.
Nick Hargreaves, managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle New Zealand, says the recognition helps build trust with clients.
“It encourages the most talented people to work with us. It attracts investors. It strengthens and differentiates our brand, making us stand out in the marketplace.
"And it makes our company a good place for all of us to work together,” he says in a statement.
“Congratulations and thanks to our ethics officers around the world for their continued efforts that produce awards like this.”
