Judge orders sample trial for James Hardie class action

James Hardie fails to oppose split trial.

A High Court judge has ruled a sample representing the 1000 owners who have banded in a class action against James Hardie be tested for liability first before the case can proceed.

The ruling comes as the courts continue to grapple with major litigation arising from the leaky building
