Judge’s daughter Christina Inglis is a new district court judge who will sit in Manukau court from May, attorney-general Christopher Finlayson said in a statement today.

Ms Inglis is one of four new district court judges and one employment court judge appointed so far this year.

The head of Crown Law’s human rights team, she is the daughter of the late Judge B D Inglis, who died two years ago.

A lawyer for 17 years, Ms Inglis has commercial, employment, social services, Treaty and criminal experience.

A member of Wellington district law society committees she has been a long-standing member of the Wellington women lawyers association.
