The Ministry of Justice has closed three three public computer kiosks at its national office over hacker fears.

The kiosks are the first to be closed since the Department of Internal Affairs began an urgent review of all publicly-accessible government computers on Wednesday.

The kiosks are used to access Maori Land Court information and book prison visits.

The DIA-led review found a vulnerability in the Justice kiosks, but the ministry says it is confident no sensitive information has been accessed.
