Kate Beddoe named as Vector's chief risk officer


She will report to chief executive Simon Mackenzie.

BUSINESSDESK: Auckland gas, electricity and telecommunications networks owner Vector has appointed Kate Beddoe as chief risk officer, effective from July 30.

Ms Beddoe previously worked as a risk manager for car manufacture Toyota and packing company Amcor. She will report to chief executive Simon Mackenzie.

"This is a key position at Vector and the reporting line reflects the importance the company places on risk governance and management of our assets," Mr Mackenzie said.

Shares in Vector last traded at $2.71.
