Kathmandu Holdings Ltd advises that it has appointed Ben Ryan as General Manager - Product following the resignation of the incumbent Michelle Adams.
CEO Xavier Simonet says: “In his new role, Ben Ryan is going to be a key asset for Kathmandu as we aspire to become a more global brand and step by step tackle the international opportunity.
Our business and our brand are first and foremost about designing and creating great products and Ben’s appointment will strengthen our focus on this area.” Ben has over 20 years of experience in the outdoor and action sports industry, with global exposure, particularly in Asia and Australasia, for international brands like The North Face, VANS and Salomon.
Ben spent nearly 4 years with Amer Sports, developing the Salomon brand within the Asia Pacific markets and over 5 years with VF Corporation based in Hong Kong in product and global strategy roles. He joined Kathmandu in May 2015 as Group Product Manager.
Xavier Simonet commented: “I want to acknowledge Michelle’s contribution to the success of Kathmandu, her passion for the brand and her dedication to the business, and we wish Michelle every success in the future”.
