The New Zealand currency has found some renewed strength, taking back some of the heavy fall seen yesterday.

Having fallen to a low of 79.69USc (Reuters) yesterday, the kiwi currency found renewed buying interest and moved back up to 83.35USc (Reuters).

Renewed concerns about global economic growth, S&P's US credit downgrade and ongoing eurozone fears saw investors move out of high-yield and growth-linked currencies like the kiwi.
