Nisha Blanchard

Nisha is a Director in our corporate tax practice based in Auckland. Nisha has been with KPMG’s tax team for over 12 years and focuses on providing tax advice and tax deal advisory services (including tax due diligence and structuring advice) to both New Zealand based and large multinational groups.  Nisha has experience advising both listed and unlisted New Zealand property groups, as well as large privately owned, listed and multinational groups in the consumer markets, tourism and education sectors.  Nisha values investing time to truly understand her clients’ businesses and their key concerns in order to provide timely, practical and commercial advice.

Michael Barnes

Michael is a Director within KPMG’s Deal Advisory team and is based in Wellington. He has more than 13 years’ of professional experience advising clients spanning a wide range of sectors. Michael specialises in investment advisory and corporate advisory projects including valuation, mergers and acquisitions, financing and due diligence work. He combines his technical expertise and strong relationship skills to ensure clients consistently receive deal support and strategy advice of the highest quality, providing clients the confidence to make the right decisions. Michael has specialist knowledge in the energy, infrastructure, financial services, transport, agribusiness and consumer goods sectors.

Jodi Newth

Jodi is a Director in our Audit and Assurance team. She has worked with KPMG for over 15 years working in both our Auckland and Netherland Offices, focusing on providing audit and assurance services to her clients. She uses her audit and technical expertise and strong client relationships to provide high quality client service. Jodi has worked, and continues to work with, clients across a broad range of industries and sectors, including manufacturing, distribution, construction and utilities. She has experience across a range of service offerings including financial statement audit, financial statement review, regulatory assurance and other assurance.

Richard Campbell

Richard is a Director in KPMG’s Enterprise team, joining the firm in 2013. Richard works with fast growing private companies to help them grow their businesses sustainably through better strategy execution, use of assets, technology and preparation for securing investment. Richard has 10 years of management consulting and investment experience in a number of different markets including the UK, China, Australia, and New Zealand. Prior to joining KPMG Richard was part of the Corporate Strategy team at Insurance Australia Group (IAG) where he worked on a range of strategic projects in both New Zealand and Australia. Richard’s specific areas of expertise include strategy development, strategic modelling, decision analysis, workshop facilitation, innovation assessment and monitoring of strategy execution. At KPMG Richard has been part of the team responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of KPMG's Enterprise DNA programme, the programme is based on 8 traits that high performing businesses share. Over the course of the programme KPMG teams work with you to help build these traits into your business in order to enable higher performance.

Rupert Carlyon

Rupert has joined as a Director in our Deal Advisory team focused on M&A. Rupert has joined from Tower Insurance where he headed up investor relations and strategy. Prior to this Rupert spent 9 years with UBS in Auckland and London where he advised a broad range of clients on buyside and sell side transactions and capital raises.

Steven Graham

Steve has over 25 years’ experience as a business leader, strategist, advisor and facilitator. Steve has held leadership roles in the US, Japan and New Zealand and has founded several start-ups, held senior advisory roles and local management positions; Southern Regional Manager at Microsoft, General Manager for Fronde and National Corporate Sales Manager for TelstraClear. Steve specialises in digital strategy transformation, foresight development, and facilitation. Steve has considerable advisory experience in both the private and public sector, including acting as the sole independent non-government board advisor to the New Zealand Government Cloud Programme Board. Steve has joined KPMG to help lead and develop the go-to-market capabilities in the areas of digital strategy, foresight, innovation, design thinking, cloud and agile. Steve has a strong reputation across government and industry as a trusted leader with the ability to align teams to achieve the best outcomes for future operating models.
