Carl Seymour

Partner – Enterprise, Auckland

Grant Riley

Partner – Advisory, Wellington

Grant leads Performance Consulting in Wellington with over 25 years of experience as a business professional and consultant. He has extensive experience and expertise, particularly in the areas of strategic reviews, maturity assessments, decision support (Better Business Case practitioner), operating model design and implementation, change management, Information Management, Information Technology and performance improvement. Grant works with a range of KPMG’s clients in the public, private and defence sectors

Kimberley Bruneau

Director – Tax, Auckland

Kimberley has more than ten years’ experience in taxation, including time in both New Zealand and Hong Kong, and combines her skill to provide holistic advice on cross border matters. As part of KPMG’s International Trade Services team she specialises in assisting New Zealand headquartered client develop efficient global transfer pricing strategies.

Nicola Raynes

Director – Advisory, Auckland

Nicola is the Industry Sector Driver for Financial Services at KPMG New Zealand, a role which operates pan-firm across banking and finance, insurance, wealth management and property funds. Nicola has worked in and with the financial services sector in New Zealand, Ireland and the United Kingdom for the last 13 years. Ten of those years have been within banking institutions with a focus on capital management and stress testing, financial and regulatory reporting, risk and compliance management and regulatory affairs. Nicola’s work as an external advisor to the industry has focused on financial, risk and regulatory management across both small and large banking and finance institutions. Nicola’s knowledge of financial services operations and industry trends and challenges ensures KPMG brings practical and value-add solutions to its clients.

Vanessa O’Neill

Director – Enterprise, Auckland

Vanessa is responsible for KPMG Enterprise‘s Food and Beverage Sector, is a lead advisory on KPMG Enterprise’s Be Retail Ready food and beverage capability program and is also an accredited facilitator of KPMG’s Enterprise DNA programme. She is a highly experienced Strategy Director having worked for large corporates in the UK, Australia and New Zealand in strategy, business development and marketing roles. She has led business strategy clients in Retail, FMCG, Consumer Goods, Industrial Goods Manufacturing, Tourism and Technology Sectors. Her focus is both international export clients and domestic.

David King

Partner – Advisory, Auckland

David has worked on a range of engagements, predominantly focusing on due diligence, but has also worked on roles including independent accountant, restructuring assistance, independent valuations and financial modelling. David has significant experience critiquing assumption reviews, in addition to identifying and assessing the key drivers of company performance. He is very skilled at evaluating synergy benefits, including their probability of crystallising post acquisition and also in securing key information in sensitive, time pressured circumstances. David has experience in a wide range of industries including financial services, utilities and energy.
