NZ Methodists win US class action settlement
Software company Zuora pays US$75m to settle claims alleging false and misleading statements to investors.
NYSE and Nasdaq-listed Zuora denied liability but said it settled to avoid the expense and uncertainty of litigation.
A US class action led by the New Zealand Methodist Trust Association, alleging false and misleading statements by executives at one of the world’s biggest tech companies, has won a US$75 million settlement.
