Pushpay insider trader fails to overturn conviction

Appeal Court dismisses appeal and orders further $100k fine. Offender’s name suppression will lapse in seven days.

A prominent businessman convicted of insider trading in Pushpay shares has failed to overturn his conviction on appeal and been fined a further $100,000.

The Appeal Court also dismissed his appeal against the High Court’s refusal to grant name suppression, although it extended interim name
