Zespri starts costs recovery over discontinued lawsuit
Kiwifruit marketer says enforcement in China an option if Chinese importer doesn’t pay.
Armed with a court judgment, Zespri says it has kicked off the recovery of nearly $900,000 in overall litigation costs against a former import partner in China.
But whether the insolvent company – or its imprisoned managing director – can stump up the court-ordered amount remains to be seen,
