Lion sells Australian cheese business
Warrnambool expects to close the deal by the end of May.

Lion Dairy & Drinks has sold its cheese business in Victoria to Warrnambool Cheese & Butter Factory $A137.5 million in cash.
Warrnambool says the acquisition will allow it to increase its presence in the branded cheese market, and expects to close the deal by the end of May.
