Transport logistics company Mainfreight Group has reported a first half net profit of $16.45 million, up 51.7% on the previous corresponding period.
Total revenue increased by 20.4% to $644.94 million.
Offshore sales now account for 70% Mainfreight’s total revenue.
The company’s EBITDA performance continued to improve, increasing by 19.7% to $35.13 million from the prior year’s result.
“Generally, business performance in most divisions improved on the year prior,” Mainfreight said.
“Trading into our third quarter shows a continuing trend with a number of divisions well ahead of prior years,” the company said.
Mainfreight’s shares closed on Wednesday at $7.40.
