Mainfreight seeks a 33% increase in directors’ fee pool

Mainfreight has been paying its directors only half what it could pay.

Mainfreight is asking shareholders to approve a 33% increase in the amount of funds available for directors’ fees to $904,000, even though it isn’t using half of its current allowance.

The last time the company increased its director fee pool to the current $680,000 level was in 2011.
