Major engineering firms merge in $US4 billion deal – NZ implications

Two major global engineering services companies with local operations, URS Corporation and Aecom Technology, are to merge in a $US4 billion takeover deal.
On its website announcing the deal, URS says it employs 300 professionals in offices in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
