Serial litigant Graham McCready has Prime Minister John Key in his sights as he files more charges over the John Banks failed electoral campaign.

Mr McCready told Radio NZ this morning he has filed charges  Mr Key conspired to defeat the course of justice by ensuring Mr Banks was not prosecuted. The charges were filed in the District Court at Auckland.

A separate charge says Mr Key was willfully blind to the contents of the police document.

Mr McCready has also filed a further charge against Auckland police officer Mark Benefield.

The retired accountant took up the Banks case after the police did not file charges, and the case was taken over by the Crown Law Office.
