Mariette van Ryn has been appointed to the board of Milford Asset Management Ltd.
Mariette was previously a General Manager on Westpac's Executive Team from 2007 until 2015, during which time she held a broad range of portfolios.
She was most recently General Manager Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Services & General Counsel and also served as a director on a number of Westpac operating companies including the bank's treasury vehicles.
Prior to joining Westpac, Mariette was a partner for 17 years in the banking and financial services area at national law firm, Simpson Grierson, where she also served as a board member.
Mariette has considerable governance experience having held a number of board roles throughout her career.
