The National Property Trust Ltd, manager of The National Property Trust, today registered an information memorandum to turn the trust into a company.
In July unitholders approved a manager's proposal to develop a detailed plan to convert the trust to a company and internalise the management.
The full proposal was then developed to be presented to unitholders at a meeting on November 25.
The notice of the meeting, an independent appraisal report from Grant Samuel and an information memorandum, which includes a prospectus, will be posted to the unitholders tomorrow.
"Voting in favour of all the resolutions being presented will result in the transformation of the trust into a listed company, which is a significant and advantageous change," said chairman of the manager, Jim Sherwin.
