Managing large projects and work forces nationwide is the experience Natural Habitats’ new General Manager, Steve Wilson, brings to the landscape design, build and care company.
With branches in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch and an expanding staff of more than 120, Natural Habitats handles a wide range of award-winning landscaping projects from residential landscapes to multi-million dollar civil projects such as the McKay to Pekapeka motorway construction underway in Wellington.
Steve Wilson has more than 15 years’ experience in managerial positions for large construction companies and takes great pride in fostering client relationships, managing operational costs within budget, meeting deadlines, and developing staff to their greatest potential, says Natural Habitats’ owner, Graham Cleary.
“Having also been a director of a number of successful start-up businesses, Steve is also keenly aware that for Natural Habitats to continue being an outstanding performer we need to understand our changing market and adapt our operational model as required, as well as bring innovative new green technology product lines to the market,” says Graham Cleary.
“In addition to his construction experience, Steve has an impressive list of qualifications, including being a Site Safe Supervisor Gold Card holder. So a natural focus for Steve is achieving and maintaining zero harm to people, plant and the environment.”
