Visitors to Heritage Hotels and Air New Zealand's Koru Lounges can now enjoy free unlocked access to NBR ONLINE.
Travel has just become a more informative experience thanks to deals signed between the National Business Review, Air New Zealand and Heritage Hotels.
Air New Zealand is to offer free unlocked access to NBR ONLINE to guests using its Koru Lounges in New Zealand and overseas.
Already NBR ONLINE has picked up a sudden spike in readership from Air New Zealand on the NBR Business Subscriptions Leaderboard, giving a clear indication that early morning business travellers are taking full advantage of this news service.
Heritage Hotels will also offer its guests full NBR ONLINE service beyond the paywall in a similar deal from December 1.
Adding up
The move brings the number of companies taking up the NBR Online Business Subscription to about 160.
Heritage Hotels chief executive Graham Yan says his chain has been a subscriber to NBR for many years and found it contained “a broad and interesting range of content".
“The journalists also have an easy-to-read style and we wanted to make this available to all of our team so we were singing the same tune,” he says.
Mr Yan says customers also want to keep up to date on relevant topics and offering NBR ONLINE through its free wifi service will add “additional value to our guests”.
“Hotels suffer from an unfortunate and sometimes misunderstood perception that we charge for every service. We want to be able to offer services that may be of added value and work with our partners.”
Heritage Hotels will offer NBR ONLINE in its hotel lobbies in hotels in Auckland, Queenstown and Hanmer Springs, plus CityLife Auckland and Wellington.
A great service
“We have thousands of guests using our hotel lobbies throughout a year. Some may not have had the opportunity to have read the NBR previously,” he says.
“It’s a great service that we can offer that will deliver quality content to our customers in a seamless manner. The stories are well-researched and the better informed we are, the better for all.”
Later this month, new or existing NBR subscribers (not bulk or multi) to NBR Print or NBR ONLINE paid content could win a new Peugoet 508 Allure valued at $54,990.
The winning subscriber will be drawn on November 30 and announced in NBR Print and NBR ONLINE on December 7, 2012.
