NBR ONLINE has launched a new campaign to allow companies to provide unlimited access to its paid content for all their staff for a flat quarterly fee of $249 plus GST.
NBR ONLINE will continue to offer individual subscriptions for $178 per annum but NBR publisher Barry Colman said there had been growing demand from individual companies wanting greater numbers of their staff to read the site’s exclusive paid content.
“The new package means a company will pay the flat fee irrespective of how many staff they have,” he said.
The new service will include any personnel operating from a single IP address.
Executives who already have individual subscriptions will continue to have access via their smartphones, ipads and home computers.
The new company IP licence will only give access to paid content when the NBR site is accessed from their offices.
Mr Colman said the multi online subscriber plan would make it possible for executives to forward paid content links to formerly non-subscriber colleagues and no longer need to log in when accessing the site from within their offices.
The new plan was also more administratively friendly.
NBR ONLINE places its exclusive business coverage behind its paywall while providing free access to general breaking news stories.
The site has attracted more than 12,000 subscribers since it launched New Zealand’s first paid content site in July 2009.
It has just completed a major upgrade of its services and editorial coverage, recruiting a number of new senior staff in the last three months.
