New CEO for Wellington Drive Technologies


Wellington Drive Technologies has appointed expatriate New Zealander Greg Allen as its new chief executive.

Wellington Drive Technologies has appointed expatriate New Zealander Greg Allen as its new chief executive.

The company focuses on energy saving motors and fans for refrigerated display cases, and supplies product to 45 countries.

Mr Allen will take up his role in November and will be based in North America, in closer proximity to the company’s main customer bases in the Americas and Europe.

Wellington Drive Technologies chairman Tony Nowell said the company was "delighted" it had been able to attract a highly experienced and truly international
expatriate Kiwi to the role.

“Greg Allen brings more than 20 years of international experience in high technology engineering, manufacturing and sales, operating and general managing in a global multi-national environment."

Mr Allen is currently industrial and green technology vice president and general manager for Celestica Corporation, a $US6.5 billion manufacturing and supply chain services company."
