New Convention Bureau Manager for Destination Queenstown
Destination Queenstown (DQ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Regan Pearce to the position of Queenstown Convention Bureau (QCB) Manager.
Destination Queenstown (DQ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Regan Pearce to the position of Queenstown Convention Bureau (QCB) Manager.
Regan brings strong sales and tourism experience to the QCB manager role, most recently as Sales and C&I Manager for AJ Hackett Bungy, and previously in sales and operational roles with DB Breweries and Dart River Safaris.
As a long-time local Regan has great Queenstown knowledge and strong networks both in the community and conference and incentive industry.
As the QCB manager, Regan will lead the marketing of Queenstown as a world class conference, incentive and meeting destination in both the domestic and international markets. He will be working alongside QCB executive Tammy Paterson and DQ’s Australian based business development manager, Jana Kingston, to identify opportunities and drive growth in the valuable MICE (meetings, incentive, conference and exhibitions) market.
Regan’s vibrant and outgoing personality mixed with his C&I experience will be valuable in leading the convention bureau’s C&I familiarisation program, relationship building, destination pitch documents and C&I sales missions and roadshows.
Destination Queenstown CEO Graham Budd is delighted to welcome Regan to the team.
“Regan has a good understanding of both the C&I industry and the local community and brings great experience to the role. We are excited to welcome him into the organisation and look forward to working with him,” says Mr Budd.
Regan will commence his role at Destination Queenstown on 15 June 2015.
