New creative director for JWT


Saatchi & Saatchi Wellington, Naked Sydney, BMF and Affinity ID veteran comes on board.

JWT has appointed Cleve Cameron as its new creative director.

Mr Cameron has worked for Saatchi & Saatchi Wellington, Naked Sydney, BMF and Affinity ID.  While with BMF, Mr Cameron won an Integrated Gold Cannes Lion for his work with Goodman Fielder, JWT said.

JWT managing director Simon Lendrum said he looked forward to working with Mr Cameron and his contemporary thinking.

“Cleve thinks of the genuinely new. His willingness to explore beyond the traditional has repeatedly resulted in great work, often ahead of its time.”

He said as consumers became more indifferent to brands and advertising, the agency needed to be increasingly creative and resourceful.

“Cleve is a genuine creative force, and I’m looking forward to putting Cleve together with Jacqueline Smart, our Head of Strategy, and seeing what results."
