Rob Lee has been appointed managing director of IBM New Zealand.

He will take up the new role in May, and transfer from Sydney to Auckland.

The ex-pat has been with the company for more than 25 years, most recently as MD of IBM's Westpac Integrated Account.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Canterbury University and is a certified engineer with IPENZ.

IBM's NZ MD for the past four years, Jennifer Moxon, is moving to Sydney to become Vice President of IBM’s public sector practice across Australia and New Zealand.
